Alexei is looking to go deep here in New York, to get closer to the top 20 in the rankings. Last year in New York, Popyrin lost in the first round against Stricker in four tight sets.

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Popyrin just had the biggest win of his career. We believe that he will be confident coming into this match. Tiafoe had a tough and exhausting third round match. That being said, we believe that Popyrin will be more rested, and win this match.
