Here in New York, Andrey won his first round performance against Seyboth Wild in straight sets. Last year in New York, Rublev lost against Medvedev in the quarterfinals.
Arthur Rinderknech has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Winston-Salem, Arthur reached the 1/8-Finals where he lost against Goffin in straight sets. Here in New York, Rinderknech won his first round match against Eubanks in five tough sets. Arthur was 1-2 down, but managed to win the most crucial points and turn the match around. He spent almost four hours on court yesterday. Last year in New York, Arthur reached the third round where he lost against Rublev in four tight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Andrey is the favorite in this matchup. Rublev had a solid first round performance yesterday. On the other hand, Rinderknech had a tough first round match, so expect him to be exhausted.
That being said, Rublev covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Casper Ruud has lost three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Cincinnati, Casper lost against Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. It was overall a poor performance from Ruud. Here in New York, Ruud won his first round match against By in straight sets. Casper reached the final here at the US Open in 2022, when he fought for his maiden Grand Slam title and world number 1 spot. Eventually, Casper failed against Alcaraz, but had a great tournament overall. Last year at the US Open, Ruud lost in the second round against Zhang in five sets.
Gaël Monfils has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Cincinnati, Monfils reached the 1/8-Finals where he lost against Rune in three tight sets. En route to the 1/8-Finals, Monfils defeated Popyrin, and upset Alcaraz as well. Here at the US Open, Gael won his first round match against Schwartzman in four sets easily as we predicted. Monfils will try to go deep here in New York to secure his top 50 spot. So far this season, Gael has not have any remarkable results. Last year in New York, Monfils lost in the second round against Rublev in four sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Casper is the slight favorite in this matchup. Both players have been inconsistent throughout the whole season. We expect a tight match, that could go either way.
That being said, over games is a value bet.
