Jack Draper has won two of his last five matches. The Brit has been struggling for the last couple of months. He finds it hard to stay consistent. Last week in Montreal, Jack lost his first round match against Thompson as we predicted. The last hard court match that he won was in March in Miami. So far this season, Draper had a great grass court part of the season. He won the title in Stuttgart on grass, which was also his only title this season.
Jaume Munar has lost three of his last five matches. His last match before the Masters in Cincinnati was in Paris at the Olympic Games, where he lost in the first round against Zverev. Here in Cincinnati, Munar fought successfully through the qualifying tournament. In the first qualifying round, Munar defeated Gaston in straight sets. After that, in the final qualifying round, Munar defeated Sonego in three tight sets. Munar is looking to get a solid result this week to secure his top 100 spot. So far this season, Jaume has not have any remarkable results on the hard courts.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Draper is the big favorite in this matchup, and we agree with that. Munar is a solid clay court player, but he never performed well on the faster surfaces. Draper is looking to get his form back, so we believe that this match will be a great chance for him to get back to his winning runs.
That being said, Draper winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Alexander Zverev has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Montreal, Zverev reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Korda in three tight sets. Zverev was the biggest favorite in Montreal, but failed under pressure. Last year in Cincinnati, Alexander lost in the semifinals against Novak Djokovic in two tight sets. Zverev usually performs well in this part of the season.
Karen Khachanov has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Montreal, Karen lost her second round match against Arnaldi in straight sets as we predicted. It was another low-quality performance from the Russian. His poor form continues. Here in Cincinnati, Karen defeated Cerundolo in straight sets. In the last couple of months, Karen lost against a lot of underdogs. The last time Karen won consecutive matches was in Rome in May. In 2022, Khachanov lost in the first round against Korda.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Zverev is the favorite in this matchup. Although Khachanov performed well in the first round, he is still far away from his best form. We believe that Zverev will go deep this week, and win his first match comfortably.
That being said, Zverev covering the games handicap is a value bet.
