ATP Masters 1000 Montreal 1/32-Finals
Mannarino – Rinderknech: 07.08.2024 21:30 CEST
H2H: 2-0
Adrian Mannarino has lost seven straight matches. This horrible season continues for Mannarino. He had 8 wins with 21 losses this season. His last victory was almost two months ago in Hertogenbosch, where he won against Napolitano in three tight sets. Last week in Washington, Adrian was absolutely demolished by Shapovalov in straight sets as we predicted. A week before that, Mannarino had an easy draw in Atlanta, but still lost against Bellucci in his first match. Last year in Toronto, Adrian lost in the first round against Taro Daniel in straight sets.
Arthur Rinderknech has won three of his last five matches. Here in Montreal, Rinderknech fought through the qualifying tournament to get into the main-draw. In the first qualifying round, Rinderknech defeated Vukic in three tight sets. After that, in the final qualifying round, O´Connell retired at the beginning of the match against Arthur. Last week in Washington, Rinderknech lost against Rublev in the 1/8-Finals in two tight sets. So far in his career, Rinderknech usually underperformed at the Masters level.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Rinderknech is the slight favorite in this matchup. He has already played some tennis here in Montreal, so he should be ready for his first round match. On the other hand, Mannarino is totally out of form, so we believe that he will underperform yet again.
That being said, Rinderknech winning is a value bet.

Kokkinakis – Monfils: 08.08.2024 02:30 CEST
H2H: 2-1
Thanasi Kokkinakis has won four of his last five matches. Here in Montreal, the Australians fought through the qualifying tournament. In the first qualifying round, Thanasi defeated Carballes Baena in straight sets. After that, in the final qualifying round, Kokkinakis faced another Spaniard. This time, Thanasi lost the first set against Bautista-Agut. However, he stepped up his game, and turned the match around. Last year in Toronto, Kokkinakis reached the second round of the tournament where he lost against Musetti in three tight sets.
Gaël Monfils has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Paris, Monfils lost in the first round of the Olympic Games against Musetti in straight sets. His last hard-court match was in Miami in March, where he lost in the third round against Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. Gael is 37 years old, and his form has been declining for the last couple of years. So far this season, Monfils has not have any remarkable results. Last year in Toronto, Gael reached the quarterfinal where he lost against Jannik Sinner in three tight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Kokkinakis is the slight favorite in this matchup. Gael performed well last year in Toronto, but his current form is far away from that. On the other hand, Kokkinakis has won two matches already here in Montreal, so we believe that he will be ready for Gael.
That being said, Kokkinakis winning is a value bet.
