Djokovic – Tsitsipas: 01.08.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 11-3

Novak Djokovic has won four of his last five matches. Here in Paris, Novak absolutely dominated against Ebden in his first round match as we predicted. In the second round, Novak won easily against Rafael Nadal in straight sets. Nadal looked exhausted on the court, and did not offer much. Nole was 4-0 up in the second set, but lost his serve twice. However, Novak stayed calm and finished the match in straight sets. In the 1/8-Finals, Novak had it tough against Koepfer. He won in straight sets, but the German played solid tennis and kept both sets tight. Something we do not say too often, but Novak is yet to win a title this season. His whole focus is on the Olympic Games, because that is the only tournament he ever won.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has won four of his last five matches. Ten days ago in Gstaad, Stefanos lost his semifinal match against Berrettini in straight sets. Here in Paris, Tsitsipas won his first round match against Bergs in three sets. Stefanos spent over two hours on the court. In the second round, Stefanos dominated against Dan Evans from the very start. He ended up winning the match 6-1 6-2. In the 1/8-Finals, Tstisipas won against Baez in easy straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Novak is the big favorite in this matchup. Stefanos is a proven clay court player, and we believe that he will have a decent chance against Novak. We believe that Tsitsipas will keep this match tight.

That being said, Stefanos covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Stefanos Tsitsipas +3.5 games handicap @1.91 @bet365

Ruud – Auger-Aliassime: 01.08.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 4-3

Casper Ruud has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Bastad, Ruud had it rough against Monteiro as we predicted. Ruud lost that match in straight sets. Here in Paris, Casper won his first round match against Daniel in straight sets. Ruud struggled in the first set, but ended up winning the set 7-5. In the second round of the tournament, Casper won against Vavassori in three tight sets. Ruud lost the first set, but managed to fight back and win the match. In the 1/8-Finals, Casper won against Cerundolo in straight sets as we predicted.

Felix Auger-Aliassime has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Gstaad, Auger lost in the quarterfinals against Berrettini in straight sets. Here in Paris, Felix is yet to lose a set. Auger dominated against Giron and Marterer in the first two rounds. Today, Auger upset Medvedev in straight sets in the 1/8-Finals of the tournament.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Ruud is the slight favorite in this matchup. We believe that Casper is overall a way better clay court player than Felix, and that he will win here easily.

That being said, Ruud winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Casper Ruud winning @1.53 @bet365
