Francisco Cerundolo has won six straight matches. Last week in Umag, Cerundolo won the title, winning against Musetti in three tight sets as we predicted. En route to the final, Francisco won against Sonego, Rublev and some other solid clay court players. Here in Paris, Francisco won his first round match against Barrios Vera in straight sets. Cerundolo lost only three games, and offered great tennis. In the second round, Cerundolo won against Humbert in three tight sets after spending almost three hours on the court.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Ruud is the slight favorite in this matchup. Cerundolo spent a lot of time on the court in his second round match. Just a few days earlier, Francisco was in Croatia where he played a lot of matches as well. We believe that he will be tired against Ruud tomorrow.
That being said, Ruud covering the games handicap is a value bet.

After that, in the second round, Carlos defeated Griekspoor in straight sets once again. Here at the Olympic Games, Alcaraz is the biggest favorite to lift the title in the end.
Roman Safiullin has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Bastad, Safiullin lost his first round match against Carballes Baena in three tight sets. Here in Paris, Roman upset Tabilo in the first round of the tournament, winning in straight sets. In the second round, Safiullin played another outstanding match, winning against Etcheverry in straight sets. Roman won the first set 6-0. However, in the second set, Safiullin struggled on the court, but was still able to win the set through tiebreak.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Safiullin is the big underdog in this matchup. Looking at his performances so far in the tournament, Roman played great tennis. Alcaraz will probably win this match, but we believe that Roman will keep this match tight. In their only head-to-head meeting, Safiullin defeated Alcaraz in straight sets.
That being said, Safiullin covering the games handicap is a value bet.
