ATP Olympic Games Best Bets Including Alcaraz/Nadal vs Griekspoor/Koolhof

Rafael Nadal Carlos Alcaraz BNP Paribas Open

ATP Olympic Games 1/16-Finals

Draper – Fritz: 30.07.2024 12:00 CEST
H2H: 1-1

Jack Draper has won three of his last five matches. The last match he played before the Olympic Games was at Wimbledon three weeks ago, where he lost in the second round of the tournament against Norrie in straight sets. Here in Paris, Jack dominated against Kei Nishikori, winning in straight sets. Jack offered four breakpoints, but saved all of them. His aggressive tennis paid off as he had 20 winners with only 12 unforced errors. Draper never had any remarkable results on clay. He loves to play on fast courts, so this will be a challenge for him.

Taylor Fritz has won four of his last five matches. Before the Olympic Games, Fritz played at Wimbledon in the quarterfinals, where he was upset by Musetti in five sets. Here in Paris, Taylor won his first round match against Bublik in straight sets. Fritz offered two breakpoints at the beginning of the second set, but saved both of them. Besides that, Taylor was unplayable. He had 30 winners with only 5 unforced errors. So far this season, the American has not had any remarkable results on clay. His biggest clay court result was in Madrid, where he reached the semifinals.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Draper is the underdog in this matchup. Both players love to play on fast surfaces. Their only head-to-head meeting on clay was this year in Munich, where Fritz won in three tight sets. We expect a similar match tomorrow as well. Jack had a solid first round performance, so we believe that he will keep this match tight.

That being said, Draper covering the games handicap is a value bet.

ATP Olympic Games doubles 1/8-Finals

Alcaraz/Nadal – Griekspoor/Koolhof: 30.07.2024 15:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Alcaraz and Nadal played their first match together here at the Olympic Games. Today, Rafael lost his second round match in the singles competition against Djokovic in straight sets. However, we believe that he will have enough energy for his doubles match with Alcaraz. In their 1/16-Finals match, Carlos and Rafael won in straight sets against Gonzalez/Molteni. They looked great together on the court.

Griekspoor and Koolhof have played only twice together before the Olympic Games. The first time was in 2023 at the Davis Cup when they lost against Sinner and Sonego in straight sets. Earlier this year, Griekspoor and Koolhof tried their luck in Madrid, but fell short against Granollers and Zeballos in the first round. Here in Paris, Griekspoor and Koolhof won their first round match against Fucsovics and Marozsan in easy straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Alcaraz/Nadal are the big favorites in this matchup. Griekspoor and Koolhof are solid servers, so we believe that they will keep this match close. Nadal is far away from his best tennis, so we think that Koolhof and Griekspoor will have a decent chance tomorrow.

That being said, Koolhof/Griekspoor covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Koolhof/Griekspoor +3.5 games handicap @1.80 @bet365
