So far this season, Habib has had some solid performances on clay at the challenger tour level. However, he never had any results at the ATP main-tour level.
Carlos Alcaraz has won seven straight matches. Just 10 days ago, Carlos lifted his second Wimbledon title, winning against Djokovic in the final as we predicted. Alcaraz played outstanding tennis throughout the whole tournament. His last clay court match was at the French Open where he won the title as well. Carlos won against Zverev in the final of the French Open as we predicted. Here at the Olympic Games, Alcaraz is the biggest favorite to lift the title in the end.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Alcaraz is the big favorite in this matchup. Carlos is the best clay court player at the moment. We believe that he will get the job done quickly against Habib. Alcaraz has way more experience playing on the biggest stage than Habib. On the other hand, Habib spent most of his matches playing at the lower levels.
