Matej Dodig is the last Croatian standing after a superb comeback win over Enzo Couacaud in the previous round. But this is where it ends for the teenager as he encounters the fourth seed, Cerundolo, who will feel he can win the title here in Umag on his preferred clay.

Dusan Lajovic vs Flavio Cobolli
Head–to–Head: First Meeting
Flavio Cobolli produced some superb tennis to hand Mariano Navone a rare opening-round defeat on clay this year in the previous round. The Italian’s performance was so good that if he can replicate it against Dusan Lajovic, who’s vastly experienced in Umag, he’s undoubtedly in to win.

Lorenzo Sonego vs Alexandre Muller
Head–to–Head: Sonego 1 – 1 Muller
Lorenzo Sonego struggled to get past hometown player and World #481 Mili Polijicak and showed signs of cramping towards the end of the match. Add this to the fact that the Italian hasn’t won consecutive matches on tour this year, and the Frenchman, who is an equally decent player on clay, should come out on top.
