Pouille – De Minaur: 06.07.2024 12:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Lucas Pouille has won five straight matches. Here at Wimbledon, Lucas fought through the qualifying tournament. He won all of his qualifying matches in straight sets easily. In the first main-draw round, Pouille defeated Djere after he was 1-2 down. In the fourth and fifth sets, Pouille played great tennis and ended up winning in five sets. After that, in the second round, Kokkinakis retired mid-match against Lucas. Last year at Wimbledon, Pouille retired in the final qualifying round against Machac.
Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in London, de Minaur lost in the first round against Lorenzo Musetti. Just a week before that, Alex lifted the trophy in Hertogenbosch where he won against Sebastian Korda in the final. Here at Wimbledon, de Minaur won against Duckworth in three tiebreaks as we predicted. After that, in the second round, de Minaur won against Munar yet again in three sets. He is yet to lose a set here at Wimbledon. Last year at Wimbledon, de Minaur lost in the second round against Matteo Berrettini.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, de Minaur is the big favorite in this matchup. Looking at his current form, we believe that de Minaur might be a dark horse this year. Pouille looked tired in his previous two matches. We believe that Alex is way more consistent than Lucas, so we believe that he will win this match easily.
That being said, de Minaur winning in straight sets.
Value bet/ the best odds: Alex de Minaur winning 3-0 @1.62 @bet365

Rune – Halys: 06.07.2024 13:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Holger Rune has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in London, Rune lost against Jordan Thompson in the first round in straight sets. That was also his first preparation tournament for Wimbledon. Here at Wimbledon, Rune won his first round match against Kwon in straight sets. Holger did not offer any breakpoints, and had overall a great serving performance. After that, in the second round, Rune won against Seyboth Wild in four sets. Holger lost the first set, but once he stepped up his game, Rune was completely dominant. Last year at Wimbledon, Rune reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.
Quentin Halys has won five straight matches. Halys fought through the qualifying tournament, and got into the main-draw while losing only one set. In the first main-round draw here at Wimbledon, Halys won against Eubanks in straight sets. After that, in the second round, Halys upset Khachanov in five tough sets. He was 1-2 down, but managed to keep his composure and turn the match around. Last year at Wimbledon, Halys lost against Sinner in the 1/16-Finals.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Rune is the big favorite in this matchup. Halys is a very solid server, and overall, a great grass court player. We believe that he will keep this match very tight.
That being said, Halys covering the games handicap is a value bet.
Value bet/ the best odds: Quentin Halys +4.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365
