Marcos Giron has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Eastbourne, Giron reached the 1/8-Finals where he lost against Nishioka in three tight sets. So far this season, Marcos has played eight grass court matches, and has a winning 5-3 record. Here at Wimbledon, Marcos won against the young Brit, Searle, in four sets. Giron lost the first set, but then started playing better and won three straight sets. Last year at Wimbledon, Giron lost in the second round against Fucsovics in four sets.
Alexander Zverev has won four of his last five matches. After he lost against Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open final as we predicted, Sascha took some time off. Two weeks ago, Zverev played in Halle, where he reached the semifinals. Hurkacz defeated him in straight sets as we predicted. Here at Wimbledon, Sascha defeated Carballes Baena in easy straight sets. He is one of the biggest favorites this year to lift the trophy. However, Zverev never had any success here in London. He is yet to reach the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. Last year at Wimbledon, Zverev lost in the third round against Matteo Berrettini.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Giron is the big underdog in this matchup. We believe that his unorthodox playing style might be a problem for Zverev. As we already mentioned before, Sascha never had any success here at Wimbledon.
That being said, Giron covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Hubert Hurkacz has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Hubert reached the final in Halle where he lost against Sinner in two tiebreaks as we predicted. En route to the final, Hurkacz won all of his matches in straight sets. Here at Wimbledon, Hurkacz lost the first set against Albot. However, once he found his rhythm, Hubert was dominant and unstoppable. He ended up winning the match in four sets. In 2021, Hurkacz reached the semifinals at Wimbledon where he lost against Berrettini in four sets. En route to the semifinals, Hurkacz won against Medvedev, Federer and some other big names. Last year at Wimbledon, Hurkacz lost against Djokovic in the 1/8-Finals.
Arthur Fils has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago, Fils reached the quarterfinals in Halle, where he lost against Zverev in three sets. Here at Wimbledon, Fils defeated Stricker in his first round match in four tight sets. Fils never had any remarkable results on grass. Last year at Wimbledon, Fils lost in the first round against Davidovich Fokina in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Hurkacz is the favorite in this matchup. We believe that Hurkacz is a way better and more experienced grass court player than Fils. He already had some great success here at Wimbledon, so we believe that he will win this match easily.
That being said, Hurkacz covering the games handicap is a value bet.
