ATP Wimbledon Best Bets Including Rune vs Seyboth Wild

ATP Wimbledon 1/32-Finals

Munar – de Minaur: 04.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 2-3

Jaume Munar has lost three of his last five matches. Being a Spaniard, this is his least favorite part of the season. Last week in Mallorca, Munar lost in the first round against Ofner. That was also his first grass court tournament of the season. Here at Wimbledon, Munar defeated Harris in the first round in four sets. Munar played great tennis, hitting 47 winners with only 22 unforced errors. Last year at Wimbledon, Munar lost in the second round against Lorenzo Musetti in straight sets.

Alex de Minaur has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in London, de Minaur lost in the first round against Lorenzo Musetti. Just a week before that, Alex lifted the trophy in Hertogenbosch where he won against Sebastian Korda in the final. Here at Wimbledon, de Minaur won against Duckworth in three tiebreaks as we predicted. This is one of his best seasons. So far this season, de Minaur has won three titles already, getting him into the top 10 in the rankings. Australians usually plays great tennis on grass. However, he is yet to show his best tennis at Wimbledon. Last year at Wimbledon, de Minaur lost in the second round against Matteo Berrettini.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Munar is the big underdog in this matchup. De Minaur is clearly a better grass court player than Munar. However, looking at their first round performances, we believe that Munar will keep this match tight.

That being said, Munar covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jaume Munar +8.5 games handicap @-124 @FanDuel

Rune – Seyboth Wild: 04.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: first meeting

Holger Rune has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in London, Rune lost against Jordan Thompson in the first round in straight sets. That was also his first preparation tournament for Wimbledon. After that, Rune played two exhibition matches, and won both of them. Here at Wimbledon, Rune won his first round match against Kwon in straight sets. Holger did not offer any breakpoints, and had overall a great serving performance. Last year at Wimbledon, Rune reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.

Thiago Seyboth Wild has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Eastbourne, Seyboth lost in the 1/8 Final against Taylor Fritz in straight sets. Here at Wimbledon, Seyboth won his first round match against Jubb. He was 0-2 down, but found his way back into the match. Seyboth even saved one match point in the third set. Last year at Wimbledon, Seyboth lost in the final qualifying round against Barrios Vera.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Rune is the big favorite in this matchup. His first round performance was outstanding, and we believe that he will get past Seyboth Wild easily.

That being said, Rune covering the games handicap is a value bet.
