Jannik Sinner in action at Wimbledon.

ATP Wimbledon 1/32-Finals

Paul – Virtanen: 03.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: first meeting

Tommy Paul has won six straight matches. Last week in London, Paul won the tournament, winning against Musetti in straight sets as we predicted. Tommy enjoys playing on grass. Here at Wimbledon, Tommy won his first round match against Pablo Martinez in four sets. Paul served great up until the third set well, which he lost. In the third set, Paul lost his serve twice, and lost the set 4-6 in the end. However, he was a better player for the most part of the match, and won deservingly in four sets. Last year at Wimbledon, Paul reached the third round where he lost against Lehecka in five sets.

Otto Virtanen has won four of his last five matches. Here at Wimbledon, Virtanen had to fight through the qualifying tournament to get into the main-draw. In his first qualifying round match, Virtanen won in three tight sets against Agamenone. After that, Virtanen defeated Ritschard in another three-setter. In the final qualifying round, Otto defeated Burruchaga in four sets. This is his maiden main-draw appearance at Wimbledon. In the first round, Virtanen upset Purcell in straight sets. He was all over the court, and played without any pressure.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Paul is the big favorite in this matchup. Tommy was inconsistent in his first round match. Virtanen is a great server, so we believe that he will keep this match tight.

That being said, Virtanen covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Otto Virtanen +6.5 games handicap @2.00 @bet365

Sinner – Berrettini: 03.07.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 1-0

Jannik Sinner has won six straight matches. Last week in Halle, Sinner lifted the title, winning against Hurkacz in the final. After he lost in the French Open semifinals against Carlos Alcaraz, the new number 1 showed why he is the best player in the world right now. It was not an easy tournament for Sinner. He had to win three consecutive three-set matches in Halle. In his first round match at Wimbledon, Sinner defeated Hanfmann in four sets. According to the bookies, Sinner is one of the biggest favorites to win Wimbledon this season. Last year at Wimbledon, Jannik reached the semifinals where he lost against Djokovic in straight sets.

Matteo Berrettini has won three of his last five matches. Berrettini is one of the best grass court players. Unfortunately, the injuries ruined his last two seasons. Two weeks ago, Berrettini reached the final in Stuttgart where he lost against Jack Draper in three tight sets. After that, Berrettini was upset by Giron in the 1/8-Finals of the ATP Halle. Here at Wimbledon, Matteo defeated Fucsovics in four sets. Last year at Wimbledon, Berrettini lost against Carlos Alcaraz in the 1/8-Finals.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the big favorite in this matchup. We can not agree with that, because Berrettini is one of the best grass court players when he is fit. We believe that Berrettini will keep this match tight.

That being said, Berrettini covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Matteo Berrettini +5.5 games handicap @1.70 @bet365
