According to the bookies, Ruud is the big favorite in this matchup. Looking at his previous grass court matches, we can not agree with that. Fognini had a solid first round performance, so we believe that he will keep this match tight.

So far this season, Muller has not played any tournaments on grass. Here at Wimbledon, Muller defeated Gaston in tight straight sets. Alexandre was 2-5 down in the second set, but turned around the set and won in straight sets in the end. Last year at Wimbledon, Muller lost in the second round against Alcaraz in tight straight sets.
Daniil Medvedev has won three of his last five matches. After losing against de Minaur in the 1/8-Finals at the French Open, Daniil has played only one preparation tournament for Wimbledon. Two weeks ago in Halle, Medvedev lost against Zhang in three tight sets as we predicted. Here at Wimbledon, Medvedev won his first round match against Kovacevic in straight sets. Daniil saved all three breakpoints, and had a great serving performance. Besides reaching the semifinals last year at Wimbledon where he lost against Alcaraz, Daniil never had any remarkable results on grass.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Medvedev is the huge favorite in this matchup. As we previously mentioned, Medvedev never had any remarkable results on grass. Muller had a solid first round performance, so we believe that he will keep this match tight.
That being said, Muller covering the games handicap is a value bet.
