ATP Wimbledon Best Bets Including Sinner vs Hanfmann

Jannik Sinner in action at Wimbledon.

ATP Wimbledon 1/64-Finals

Bellucci – Shelton: 01.07.2024 17:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Mattia Bellucci has won three of her last five matches. Two weeks ago, Bellucci lost in the first round at the challenger tournament in Ilkley against Richard Gasquet. Here in London, Bellucci had to fight through the qualifying tournament to get into the main-draw. In the first qualifying round, Bellucci had to dig deep against Ajdukovic, and even save two match points. After that, Mattia defeated Zapata Miralles in straight sets. In the final qualifying round, Goffin was the big favorite against Bellucci. However, Mattia was the better player on the court, and ended up winning the match in four sets.

Ben Shelton has lost four of his last five matches. Even though he loves to play on the fast courts, and he loves grass courts, Ben never had any remarkable results on grass. Last week in Mallorca, Shelton lost against Jubb in the quarterfinals as we predicted. So far this season, Shelton has played four grass court matches, and has a losing 1-3 record. During his debut campaign at Wimbledon in 2023, Ben lost in the second round against Laslo Djere.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Bellucci is the underdog in this matchup. Mattia had a strong qualifying tournament here in London. On the other hand, Shelton is struggling with his form a lot. We believe that this will be a 50-50 match, that could go either way.

That being said, Bellucci covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Sinner – Hanfmann: 01.07.2024 17:30 CEST
H2H: 1-0

Jannik Sinner has won five straight matches. Last week in Halle, Sinner lifted the title, winning against Hurkacz in the final. After he lost in the French Open semifinals against Carlos Alcaraz, the new number 1 showed why he is the best player in the world right now. It was not an easy tournament for Sinner. He had to win three consecutive three-set matches in Halle. According to the bookies, Sinner is one of the biggest favorites to win Wimbledon this season. Last year at Wimbledon, Jannik reached the semifinals where he lost against Djokovic in straight sets.

Yannick Hanfmann has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Mallorca, Hanfmann lost against Walton in straight sets. Before that, Yannick tried to qualify for the main-draw in Halle. He failed in the final qualifying round, where he lost against Michelsen in straight sets. Unfortunately for him, Hanfmann has been struggling a lot with his form this season, resulting in him losing his top 100 ranking. Last year at Wimbledon, Hanfmann lost in the first round against Fritz in five sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the big favorite in this matchup, which is obvious. Hanfmann used to be dangerous on the grass courts. However, his current form is poor, so we believe that he will have no chance against number 1.

That being said, Sinner covering the games handicap is a value bet.
