Last week in London, Harris reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Musetti in straight sets. Here in Eastbourne, Billy won his first round match against Fearnley in straight sets. After that, Harris defeated another Brit, Broom, also in straight sets. Today, in the quarterfinals, Cobolli did not have a chance in the deciding set against Harris. If he keeps playing like this, Harris will get into the top 100 soon enough.

According to the bookies, Purcell is the slight favorite in this matchup. We believe that Harris has played way too many tight matches recently, so he will be tired in this match. Purcell is also more experienced on the big stage, so we believe that his experience and his fitness will prevail in this matchup.

Last year in Eastbourne, Fritz lost in the first round against McDonald. Fritz had his best year on grass in 2022 when he lifted the trophy in Eastbourne. Right after that, Fritz reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon where he lost against Rafael Nadal in five tough sets, after he was 2-1 up.
Aleksandar Vukic has won four of his last five matches. Vukic lost here in the qualifying tournament against Nishioka. However, Vukic got into the main draw as a lucky loser. In the first round, Vukic defeated Marozsan in straight sets. After that, Bublik also stood no chance against Aleksandar in the second round. In the quarterfinals, Vukic got his rematch against Nishioka. Aleksandar won in the third set tiebreak, after he was 0-3 down in the tiebreak.

According to the bookies, Fritz is the big favorite in this matchup. Similar to his quarterfinal performance against Shang, we believe that Fritz will have problems with Vukic. Aleksandar is a big server, so we believe that he will keep this match tight.
