ATP 500 Queen’s  1/8-Finals

Dimitrov – Korda: 19.06.2024 15:30 CEST
H2H: 1-1

Grigor Dimitrov has won four of his last five matches. This was his first grass court tournament of the season. Before Queens, Dimitrov lost in the quarterfinals at the French Open against Sinner in straight sets. Here in London, Grigor won his first round match against Mannarino comfortably in straight sets. Last year in London, Dimitrov reached the quarterfinals where he lost against Alcaraz in straight sets. After that, Grigor reached the 1/8-Finals at Wimbledon where he lost against Holger Rune in four sets.

Sebastian Korda has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Korda reached the final in Hertogenbosch where he lost against de Minaur in straight sets. En route to the final, Korda won against some very good grass court players such as Tommy Paul and Tallon Griekspoor. Here in London, Korda won his first round match against Khachanov in two tight sets. Last year in London, Sebastian reached the semifinals where he lost against Alcaraz in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Dimitrov is the favorite in this matchup, and we totally agree with that. Grigor dominated in his first round match against Mannarino, and looked really well on the court. On the other hand, Korda looked tired against Khachanov, and we believe that he will be tired against Dimitrov tomorrow.

That being said, Dimitrov winning is a value bet.

Raonic – Fritz: 19.06.2024 18:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Milos Raonic has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Hertogenbosch, Raonic lost against de Minaur in the quarterfinals. Here in London, Milos won his first round match against Norrie in three tight sets. Milos had an incredible serving display, delivering 47 aces, setting a new record for the most aces served in the best of three sets match. The former world number 3 is slowly returning to his best form. If he stays healthy during the grass court part of the season, we believe that Raonic will climb up the rankings pretty quickly.

Taylor Fritz has won four of his last five matches. This is his first grass court tournament of the season. Before that, Taylor lost against Ruud in the 1/8-Finals at the French Open. Here in London, Taylor absolutely dominated against Taro Daniel in the first round, winning in straight sets. Fritz offered and saved only one breakpoint. Last year in London, Fritz lost in the second round against Mannarino in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Both players are great servers, and not so great returners. We expect at least two tiebreaks, if not three tiebreaks. Raonic should be able to win at least one set, and keep this match tight.

That being said, Raonic covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Milos Raonic +1.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365
