Lorenzo Musetti has won four of his last five matches. Before the ATP 250 in Stuttgart, Musetti played his last match in Paris, where he lost against Djokovic in the third round in five tough sets. In his first round match here in Stuttgart, Musetti defeated Mpetshi Perricard in two tiebreaks. After that, Lorenzo won against Köpfer in another tight match. Musetti came back after being 0-1 down. He is a great clay court specialist, but Musetti never had any remarkable results on grass.
Alexander Bublik has won three of his last five matches. The last match that he played before ATP Stuttgart was two weeks ago at the French Open where he lost in the second round against Struff. Here in the first round, Alexander won comfortably against Medjedovic in straight sets. Bublik loves to play on grass and usually offers his best tennis on it. Last year, Bublik reached the 1/8-Finals at Wimbledon where he lost against Rublev in five tight sets. He did not play last year in Stuttgart, but he did play in Halle. Around this time last year, Bublik won the title in Halle, winning against Andrey Rublev in the final.

According to the bookies, Bublik is a slight favorite in this matchup. Bublik is overall a way better grass court player than Musetti. He has shown better tennis in his first match here in Stuttgart, and we expect him to go deep this week.
That being said, Bublik winning is a value bet.

Frances Tiafoe has won three of her last five matches. This has been one of the worst seasons for him as he struggled to get consecutive wins. In the first round here in Stuttgart, Tiafoe won comfortably against Hanfmann in straight sets. The last match he played before ATP Stuttgart was two weeks ago at the French Open where he lost against Shapovalov in the second round. Frances is a very solid grass court player. Last year, Tiafoe won the title here in Stuttgart, winning against Struff in the final.
Jack Draper has lost three of his last five matches. His least favorite part of the season (clay season) is over. Draper plays aggressive tennis which fits the grass surface perfectly. In his first round match here in Stuttgart, Draper won against Ofner in two tiebreaks. After that, Draper won against Giron in a very tight match as we predicted. In 2018, Draper played in the Wimbledon Boys final where he lost against Tseng in three sets. We are still waiting for him to have a breakthrough season on grass.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Tiafoe is the underdog in this matchup. Draper has won both of his matches really tightly so far. Frances showed better tennis so far in the tournament, and he had better results on grass overall than Draper.
That being said, Tiafoe winning is a value bet.
