ATP Hertogenbosch Best Bets Including Raonic vs Bautista-Agut

ATP Halle Open semifinalist Roberto Bautista Agut in action.

ATP 250 Hertogenbosch 1/8-Finals

Bautista-Agut – Raonic: 12.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 0-5

Roberto Bautista-Agut has won three of his last five matches. Agut is 36 years old, and his form is slowly, but surely declining. The last match that he played before ATP the Stuttgart was at the French Open, where he lost against Jaume Munar in the first round. Today, Bautista won in the first round against Huesler in straight sets as we predicted. Roberto is a solid grass court player. In 2019, Agut reached the semifinals at Wimbledon. Last year, Agut played only two tournaments on grass. He reached the semifinals in Halle, and lost in the first round at Wimbledon.

Milos Raonic has won three of his last five matches. Today, in the first round, Raonic absolutely dominated against Thompson and won in easy straight sets. The last match that he won before ATP Stuttgart was against Nagal at Indian Wells, where he won in straight sets. After that, Raonic was forced to withdraw from the tournament yet again. Milos has been unfortunately struggling a lot with the injuries the last couple of years. Raonic is a great grass court player with big serve. He always played his best tennis on fast surfaces such as this one.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Raonic is a slight favorite to win in this matchup. Looking at their head-to-head meetings, Bautista-Agut never had an answer to Raonic´s game. Milos showed in his first round match that he was ready. He is overall a better grass court player than Bautista-Agut.

That being said, Raonic winning is a value bet.

Brouwer – Mannarino: 12.06.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 1-0

Gijs Brouwer has won four of his last five matches. If it had not been for the grass court season, Brouwer would have been outside the top 300. So far this season, Brouwer has already played six matches on grass with a winning 5-1 record. Last week, Gijs lost in the first round of the Surbiton Challenger against Svajda. Here in Hertogenbosch, Brouwer won all of his matches in three sets. Today, Brouwer came back against Mensik and turned the match around. Last year in Hertogenbosch, Gijs lost against Hijikata in the first round in three sets.

Adrian Mannarino has lost 7 of his last 8 matches. However, the grass court part of the season is his favorite one, and we believe that he will get back to the winning runs soon enough. Today, Adrian lost the first set and was trailing 1-4 in the second set against Napolitano. However, Mannarino started hitting his flat shots, and managed to turn the match around. Last year, Mannarino reached the quarterfinals in Hertogenbosch where he lost against Thompson in three sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Mannarino is a slight favorite in this matchup. Once he found his rhythm in the first round, Adrian played great tennis. We believe that he will start the match better this time and win easily against Brouwer.

That being said, Mannarino winning is a value bet.
