Federico Coria has lost three of his last five matches. Clay court is his favorite surface, but so far this season, Coria has not had any remarkable results. He made 14 double faults and still kept the match tight. If he just served a little bit better, Shapovalov would have won that match. Before that, Denis had two decent wins in Madrid against solid clay-court players Diaz Acosta and Etcheverry. It is worth mentioning that the clay surface in Geneva is really fast and that should go in his favor.

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Coria is a solid clay court player, but when the surface gets faster, he can not adjust well. We believe that Shapovalov will keep the rallies short and serve well.

Christopher Eubanks is still hanging in the top 50 rankings. However, he is currently in terrible form. He has lost five matches. Eubanks also has lost nine of his last ten matches. Being an American, and also so tall, Eubanks is struggling on the clay. The last match he played was last week in Rome, where he lost in the first round against Atmane. Last year in Geneva, Eubanks defeated Paire in straight sets in the first round of the tournament.
Tallon Griekspoor is also struggling with his form. He has lost three of his last five matches. The last match he played was in Rome, where he was upset by Passaro in three sets. Before that, Griekspoor had two decent wins in Rome, but other than that, Griekspoor has not had any remarkable results on the clay so far this season. Last year in Geneva, Griekspoor defeated Travaglia in the first round 7-5 7-6. After that, Griekspoor retired in the second round to rest for the French Open.

According to the bookies, Eubanks is a huge underdog in this match. He is a huge server, and considering how fast this clay surface is, we believe that Christopher will hold his serve easily.
