ATP Miami 1/64-Finals
Murray – Berrettini: 20.03.2024 20:00 CEST
H2H: 2-3
Andy Murray played his last match in Indian Wells, where he lost in the second round against Rublev in straight sets. He played really well in the first set. In the second set, Murray looked tired on the court and did not move well. He made many unforced errors because his footwork was just not working well. His opponent, Berrettini, is coming back from an injury. He played last week in Phoenix after being out since retiring at the US Open 2023. Berrettini looked good, and he was able to reach the final in Phoenix. He lost in the final in two tough sets against Borges. Berrettini showed us promising tennis, but playing at such a high level, like in Miami, is something else. Berrettini has a 0-3 record in Miami, and he is yet to get a win here. We believe that we will watch a very tight match with many games played. Over 23.5 games should be an easy bet, if both players serve well tonight!
Value bet/ the best odds: over 23.5 games @1.83 @bet365
Fils – Arnaldi: 20.03.2024 22:00 CEST
H2H: 0-2
Arthur Fils played his last match in Indian Wells where he lost to Ruud in the 1/16-Finals. Fils had a solid tournament where he won against Borges and Davidovich Fokina in straight sets. He loves to play on the hard court surface. His opponent, Arnaldi, is always a tricky opponent. Arnaldi upset Fritz this year in Acapulco. In Indian Wells, he managed to win a set against Alcaraz. It is fair to say that Arnaldi is a great player who can play against pretty much anyone. Consistency is his biggest problem and that is why he still has not reached his full potential. However, he is young and still has time to do it! We expect another tough match and possibly three sets. Over games is a value bet yet again!
Value bet/ the best odds: over 23.5 games @1.83 @bet365
Kotov – van Assche: 20.03.2024 16:00
H2H: first meeting
Pavel Kotov is in terrible form at the moment. The young Russian lost 4 out of his last 5 matches. Since the Australian Open, Kotov has only won once. In his last match in Indian Wells, Kotov lost to Tabilo in three sets. He did not serve well, and he made way too many unforced errors. His opponent tonight, van Assche, is a 19-year-old French prodigy. Van Assche played last week’s challenger tournament in Phoenix. He reached the semi-finals where he lost to Borges, who eventually won the title. Van Assche showed promising tennis in this tournament. We believe that van Assche is currently the more consistent player of both of them. He showed that in Phoenix as well. Both players are yet to win in the masters’ tournament. The bookies are predicting this as an even one. However, we believe that van Assche should be a favorite in this match. All being said, van Assche winning is a value bet!
