ATP Indian Wells best bets

Nicholas Jarry in action ahead of the ATP Adelaide International.

ATP Indian Wells 1/32-Finals

Hanfmann – Griekspoor: 08.03.2024 Time TBA
H2H: 2-0

Yannick Hanfmann played yesterday his first match on the hard court after the Australian Open. It definitely was not his best match, but he managed to win in three sets against Cachin. Although his serve was really great, Hanfmann really struggled to get free points. Cachin made him work in the long rallies. Yannick has played lots of matches on the clay recently, and it is always a tough transition from clay to the hard court. His opponent, Tallon Griekspoor, did not play a qualification match, so he had some time to rest. Unlike Hanfmann, Griekspoor played lots of matches on the hard court this year. He looks ready, and he has had big wins this year already. We believe that he is more prepared for this tournament and, given his current form, he should win easily!

Value bet/ the best odds: Griekspoor -2.5 handicap games @1.83 @bet365

Marozsan – Jarry: 08.03.2024 Time TBA
H2H: first meeting

Fabian Marozsan is getting better day by day. He played in the first round against Rodionov in a match where he dominated from the first point. Marozsan is trying to get into the top 50 in the rankings. If he could do well in this tournament, he would get it! His opponent, Nicolas Jarry, has played mostly on the clay this year. His last hard court match was in Australia, where he lost to Cobolli in five sets. Nico Jarry usually struggles on the hard court, which is a myth considering his big serve and forehand. Fabian Maroszan returned brilliantly against Rodionov. If he can return that well against Jarry, he will have a big chance to win. Nico Jarry does not love to play against players who have a solid backhand, and we believe that that will prevail in this match. If Marozsan gets into the rallies with his backhand across court, this match will be over soon. All being said, we do not believe that Marozsan should be an underdog in this matchup. Marozsan winning is a value bet, and you should definitely go for it!

Value bet/ the best odds: Marozsan to win @2.38 @bet365

Shevchenko – Cerundolo
H2H: first meeting

Alexander Shevchenko is back on the winning track. In the first round of the tournament, Shevchenko won in three sets against Koepfer. He had a terrible second set, but other than that he played really well. Shevchenko managed to stay cool under the pressure, and it was really fun to watch him play. His opponent, Cerundolo, had not played any hard court matches since the Australian Open. He is in terrible form, which we saw at the Australian Open. Cerundolo struggled against the challenger player, Sweeny, which he won in five sets. In the second round of the Australian Open, he could not do anything against Maroszan. It is no secret that his form dropped a lot this year. If Shevchenko is ready and rested, we believe that he will continue his winning streak. The bookies are predicting this one as a 50-50 match, so we definitely have a value bet here!
