ATP Indian Wells 1/64-Finals
Kokkinakis – Giron: 06.03.2024 20:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Thanasi Kokkinakis had to retire in his last match two weeks ago. It seems like his ankle injury has still not fully recovered. This year has been okay so far. He has not been really consistent. Most of the matches he lost were against better ranked players, and he won the matches where he was a favorite. His opponent, Marcos Giron, is in great form. He played two tournaments in the States this year. In Dallas, he lost in the final against Paul in a three-set thriller. A week after that, he played the semi-finals in Delray Beach, where he lost against Fritz in straight sets. Giron is a more consistent and better player at the moment. If he is 100% fit, this should be an easy win for him!
Value bet/ the best odds: Giron to win @1.53 @bet365
Shevchenko – Koepfer: 06.03.2024 21:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Alexander Shevchenko has been playing really well this season so far. However, he lost his last three matches. We have to mention that he played against three perfect players. Dimitrov, Gasquet and Medvedev were all better than him in those matches. We believe that he will bounce back on the outdoor hard courts. He has a great playing style for this kind of surface. His opponent, Dominik Koepfer, is a young German who grew up in the States. Koepfer had some really great results this year as he climbed up into the top 50 rankings.
He always plays his best tennis in the States, where he played in college, so he is really used to the surface. Both players are good servers, and we believe that this match will be a very tough one for both players. If they could serve well and play their best tennis, we certainly believe that we will see at atleast one tie-break. All being said, we expect a long match tonight between two guys who have shown perfect tennis this year. Over games is a value bet tonight and you should definitely go for it!
Value bet/ the best odds: over 23.5 games @bet365
Eubanks – Nakashima: 06.03.2024 21:30 CEST
H2H: 2-2
Christopher Eubanks did not play many matches this year. He mentioned that he was preparing for this part of the season. As an American, he loves to play on the hard court!
If he could serve well in this tournament, he might be a dark horse for lots of players. His opponent, Brandon Nakashima, has been playing on the challenger tour most of the time this year. A young American prodigy has not been playing his best tennis. His ranking dropped and if he does not step up his game, he might be out of the top 100 pretty soon! This is a big match for both guys. A win here would get them many points! We believe that Eubanks is currently a better player, even though he lost his last two matches. Nakashima is currently a challenger player, and we believe that he should not be a favorite in this match.
