The second set of second-round matches in Chengdu are set. With some unexpected matchups this round, we take a look at the four singles matches on the card in ATP Chengdu. But who will advance to the quarterfinals?
ATP Chengdu Day Four
Lorenzo Musetti Vs. Philip Sekulic
Head to Head: First meeting
Second seed Lorenzo Musetti faces qualifier Philip Sekulic. The Australian battled through the first round to defeat Nuno Borges in an impressive win. The Italian second seed will be a completely different proposition though. Although the Italian had a bye in the first round, Musetti will have little difficulty progressing to the next round
Prediction: Musetti in 2
Marcos Giron Vs. Arthur Rinderknech
Head to Head: Giron 1-0 Rinderknech
Marcos Giron took the last meeting between these two. The American and Frenchman are quite close in ranking, so the match is likely to be close. Giron scored a great win over Alexander Bublik in Round 1. The American took a straight sets win to move into this round. Arthur Rinderknech will want to avenge the result from last time. The match will be a close one, but the American should take it.
Prediction: Giron in 3

Corentin Moutet Vs. Miomir Kecmanovic
Head to Head: Moutet 0-1 Kecmanovic
Corentin Moutet will have a tough time against the Serbian seventh seed. Kecmanovic eased through his first-round match with very little trouble. Moutet dominated his first round, but the Frenchman will find Kecmanovic a harder task.
Prediction: Kecmanovic in 2
Alexander Zverev Vs. Pavel Kotov
Head to Head: First Meeting
Top seed German Alexander Zverev is playing his first match since the quarterfinal exit at the US Open. The German takes on qualifier Pavel Kotov. The qualifier is just outside of the top 100 and will be eager to score a huge upset here in China. Zverev, though, will not struggle against Kotov. The German has not played for a couple of weeks, so it may take a while to get into the match, but he should come through
Prediction: Zverev in 2
