WTA Charleston Quarterfinal Predictions Including Belinda Bencic vs Paula Badosa

Paula Badosa WTA Charleston

The quarterfinals are set in Charleston for the WTA Credit One Charleston Open. Here is your look at all the quarterfinal action including Belinda Bencic vs Paula Badosa.

Belinda Bencic vs Paula Badosa

Badosa leads the h2h 3-0, she’s reached back-to-back quarterfinals and has been on quite a hot streak going back to the semis in Indian Wells. Bencic scored a nice win over Madison Keys in the previous round and was a semifinalist in Miami. Bencic is playing slightly better, but Badosa leads the h2h for a reason. Badosa in 3

Ons Jabeur vs Anhelina Kalinina

Kalinina is at a career high ranking, Jabeur hasn’t dropped a set this week. This is a matchup of in-form players and of the pair, I like Kalinina’s form the most, three wins in Miami, and now three in Charleston, she looks set to add another W to the tally. Kalinina in 2

Magda Linette vs Ekaterina Alexandrova

Linette won their only meeting, she’s needed three sets every time to win three matches this week, Alexandrova has dropped just one set to the do the same. Linette is arguably the better player but fatigue has to catch up to her sometime, I’ll go with Alexandrova. Alexandrova in 2

Amanda Anisimova vs Coco Vandeweghe

Anisimova upset top seed Aryna Sabalenka in a three setter in the previous round and scored two routine wins prior to that. Putting together her best tournament since January. Vandeweghe has run the table as a lucky loser, including upsetting Jessica Pegula in the previous round. The former top 10 player is capable, but Anisimova would be the safer choice from this stage on. Anisimova in 2
