WTA Miami Day 6 Predictions Including Madison Brengle vs Iga Swiatek

Iga Swiatek Miami 2022

The round of 32 at the WTA Miami Open will conclude on Sunday with the likes of Iga Swiatek and Petra Kvitova in action. We have predictions for all the matchups to close the weekend from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Lauren Davis vs Petra Kvitova

Kvitova needed three sets in the first round, she leads the h2h 1-0 over Davis, it’s been a pedestrian season for the Czech thus far, Davis already has four wins this week including qualifying, her excellent form has come against lower ranked players than Kvitova but Kvitova clearly looks vulnerable and I have the American advancing at home. Veronika Kudermetova vs Shelby Rogers

Rogers won the only meeting between these players, she’s’ been solid in two matches this week defeating Jelena Ostapenko and Amanda Anisimova to reach the same stage she did at Indian Wells the previous outing. Kudermetova was a quarterfinalist at Indian Wells and had an easy time against Dalma Galfi in her opening Miami match. Kudermetova is the better player, Rogers will be competitive and this should be a good match though. Kudermetova in 3

Coco Gauff vs Zhang Shuai

Zhang won Lyon and now has two wins in Miami, defeating Clara Tauson and Sorana Cirstea. Gauff was a quarterfinalist in Doha and is now at the same stage she was defeated in Indian Wells. This is another close matchup, Gauff should have more upside to her game and find a way to win though. Gauff in 3

Madison Brengle vs Iga Swiatek

This pair have split h2h meetings, Brengle has scored two impressive, routine wins to make it this far. The new world number one Swiatek dropped just two games in her first Miami match. At 21-4 on the season and a champion in Indian Wells who hasn’t lost a match in over a month, Swiatek is an incredibly tough opponent to beat right now. Brengle doesn’t look to be up to the task.
