Kasatkina just won when this pair met in San Jose (the h2h is 1-1), Linette hasn’t dropped a set this week and is at the same stage as she was in San Jose when she lost to the Russian. Sara Sorribes Tormo vs Shuai Zhang

Katerina Siniakova vs Anett Kontaveit
Kontaveit leads the h2h 2-1, Siniakova hasn’t had an early round exit at a tournament all summer long, Kontaveit snapped a five match losing streak with two wins this week in Cleveland. Siniakova is playing much better overall and should have the upper hand. Siniakova in 2
