WTA Belgrade Day 2 Predictions Including Jule Niemeier vs Viktoriya Tomova

Jule Niemeier Nuremberg

Action from WTA Belgrade on day 2 features Jule Niemeier, Andrea Petkovic, Kaja Juvan, Anna Blinkova and more. We have predictions for all the matches in the WTA Belgrade 125 draw on Tuesday including Arantxa Rus’ match.

Jule Niemeier vs Viktoriya Tomova

Niemeier is playing well and comes off a semifinal in Hamburg, Tomova hasn’t made a run since reaching the semis of the last WTA Belgrade tournament. Niemeier’s excellent form makes her tough to beat right now even if Tomova has had success in Belgrade. Niemeier in 2

Anna Blinkova vs Isabella Shinikova

Blinkova is the top seed but Shinikova has won a couple of matches recently and should have some hope in this matchup. Blinkova should be able to get past this opening round match though. Blinkova in 2

Kristyna Pliskova vs Tena Lukas

Pliskova has struggled all season but Lukas has failed to put together any notable results this year. Her past ITF success looks to be entirely missing in action this year. Pliskova will be the favorite and is hoping to find form this week. Pliskova in 2

Jaqueline Adina Cristian vs Kaja Juvan

Juvan won two matches at Wimbledon and returns to tour this week, Cristian reached the quarters in Palermo and has put together some respectable results. This year she reached a career high ranking at #140. Juvan looks to be the better player and should win though. Juvan in 3

Lola Radivojevic vs Andrea Petkovic

Petkovic just reached the Hamburg final, her first WTA final since 2015. This is her first tournament since that surprising run, Radivojevic is a 16 year old who could have a bright future ahead, however there’s very little match tape on her to predict how she might perform in this matchup. Petkovic should be able to secure a routine win. Petkovic in 2
