ATP Kitzbuhel Day 2 Predictions Including Radu Albot vs Marco Cecchinato

Marco Cecchinato 2021 French Open

The first round will finish on day 2 at the ATP Kitzbuhel tournament on clay in Austria. We have predictions for all of your matches including matches featuring Federico Delbonis.

Radu Albot vs Marco Cecchinato

Albot leads the h2h 2-0, it’s been another difficult season for the former top 40 player, Cecchinato has also fallen from grace, the former top 20 player is outside of the top 80 but did reach the final in Parma on clay and hasn’t had that bad of a season. Despite the h2h differential, on clay Cecchinato would be the favorite based on recent form. Cecchinato in 2

Mario Vilella Martinez vs Lukas Neumayer

The qualifier Neumayer is an up and coming 19 year old playing in his first ever ATP Tour main draw match. He came through the qualifying and has only played a limited amount of matches at the professional level, however he already has some quality wins including wins over Gonzalo Lama, Juan Ignacio Londero, and Lukas Rosol all on clay.

Vilella Martinez is a lucky loser, but he did find success recently winning the Todi Challenger and reaching the quarterfinals of the Tampere challenger. Martinez is a capable player on clay and has more experience. Neumayer has an edge playing at home, but cannot be picked with confidence given his limited experience. Vilella Martinez in 3

Gianluca Mager vs Dennis Novak

This pair have split h2h meetings, Austria’s Novak has struggled throughout his career to consistently win on the ATP Tour, Mager is at a career high ranking as the majority of his ATP Tour level wins have come this season, and he’s been great on the Challenger Tour including a title in Marbella on clay. With Mager playing relatively well, he should win despite Novak being the home player. Mager in 2
