WTA Berlin Quarterfinal Predictions Including Garbine Muguruza vs Alize Cornet

Garbine Muguruza Berlin 2021

The quarterfinals are set in Berlin, here is your look at all the grass court action including Garbine Muguruza vs Alize Cornet.

Madison Keys vs Ludmilla Samsonova

Keys won her last match in three sets and is into her first quarterfinal of the season. It’s no surprise her form is improving on grass as its a surface she’s been a star on in the past. The qualifier Samsonova has had an impressive run and is making progress towards her quest to be a WTA tour regular and feature inside the top 100. Samsonova is playing well but Keys should still have the upper hand. Keys in 2

Jessica Pegula vs Victoria Azarenka

Pegula faces Azarenka after defeating her at this year’s Australian Open. It’s been a career year for the American who is on her way to the top 25 in the WTA rankings and is playing at a much higher level this season than in any previous years. Vika had a good Roland Garros and has an excellent track record on grass. Azarenka looks set to get her revenge here in what should be a competitive match. Azarenka in 3

Garbine Muguruza vs Alize Cornet

Muguruza leads the h2h 2-0, the Spaniard has a good record on grass but she’s been struggling since reaching the Dubai final in March. Cornet has been steady but has lacked impressive results this season and her grass court record is nothing spectacular. Muguruza looks well positioned to reach the semis. Muguruza in 2

Belinda Bencic vs Ekaterina Alexandrova

Alexandrova leads the h2h 2-1 including a win on grass in 2019 and a clay court win this year in Stuttgart. Bencic has a better grass court record though, this is a tough match to predict, but I’ll go with Bencic to even the h2h. Bencic in 3
