ATP Munich Day 2 Predictions Including Taro Daniel vs Yannick Hanfmann

Clay court action in Munich will continue on Tuesday with Germany’s own Yannick Hanfmann and Jan-Lennard Struff among the players in action. We have predictions for all the Bavarian Open matches including Pablo Cuevas match for Tuesday.

Taro Daniel vs Yannick Hanfmann

Taro Daniel has a winning record against Hanfmann and comes off the semis in Belgrade after some success at the Challenger tour level. Daniel is at ease on clay and showed it in Belgrade where won five matches as a qualifier before slipping up with a three set loss in the semis. Hanfmann at 4-8 has struggled this season outside a quarterfinal in Cagliari. Presuming he’s fit, Daniel is at a big advantage here. Daniel in 2

Andrej Martin vs Jan-Lennard Struff

Struff beat Martin at Roland Garros 2016, the qualifier Martin has struggled at the ATP level in 2021 with just two main draw wins, Struff is a respectable 8-10 on the season and is playing in his home country. These players aren’t that far apart when at their best, but Struff is playing the better of the pair at the moment. Struff in 2

Nikoloz Basilashvili vs Thiago Monteiro

Monteiro outclassed Basilashvili at last year’s French Open, Monteiro is 9-7 on the season and at his bets on clay. Basilashvili has improved to 9-11 on the season including the title in Doha and semis in Cagliari, but clay is not his preferred surface and this match looks set to see an upset, it should be a battle.
