It’s time for the 2021 WTA Monterrey final as Leylah Fernandez seeks her first WTA title, and Viktorija Golubic is in her second WTA already final already this season.

Fernandez’s 4 wins have all come in straight sets this tournament including a surprise win against Sara Sorribes Tormo in the semifinals. Fernandez is back in another WTA final after losing last year’s Acapulco final (her first). The odds will still be somewhat against her here as Golubic already made the Lyon final this season and is having her best season since 2016.
