Fernandez holds a 2-1 h2h against Hibino, both players are in some great form early in the season, qualifying for the Australian Open. The veteran Bondarenko battles one of the tournament favorites Watson who reached the semis in Hobart early in the year. A former top 30 player, Bondarenko came back to the WTA tour in September after having her second child (she also had a maternity break after her first child).
