Gael Monfils and Albert Ramos-Vinolas will be facing off for the second time in the last month. Monfils defeated Ramos-Vinolas in the first round of the US Open in straight sets. Ramos-Vinolas played a good match, but Monfils was too good in the end. Monfils struggled with the conditions in his opening-round win over Cameron Norrie which is a little concerning, but I think he’ll be better prepared for that in this match.

Adrian Mannarino vs Damir Dzumhur

Adrian Mannarino opened up the draw after his upset win over Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Frenchman is up against Dzumhur, who’s in good form. Dzumhur came through qualifying and has won a couple of matches in the main draw, so he’s playing well. Their last meeting was in the final of Antalya on grass, where Dzumhur won in three. I think the Bosnian gets the win here too.

Andreas Seppi vs Roberto Bautista Agut
H2H- Bautista Agut leads 3-0
Andreas Seppi had an improbable comeback win over wild card Zhizhen Zhang, saving five match points. The Italian is now coming into the quarterfinals on a seven-match win streak. He’s up against Roberto Bautista Agut, who he’s struggled with in the past. I can see this one playing out the same way as their previous three matches. Seppi is playing good enough to keep it close, but he’ll have to up his game to another level to beat Bautista Agut.

Borna Coric vs Alex de Minaur
H2H- First Meeting
Alex de Minaur survived a tough three-set battle against Andy Murray. I think the real winner in this match was Borna Coric who won his match comfortably over Di Wu. The quick turnaround certainly favors Coric here. De Minaur will fight like he always does, but I think Borna Coric has a clear edge here.
