ATP Zhuhai Open Day 4 Predictions Including Andy Murray vs Alex de Minaur

Andy Murray Zhuhai Open

Day 4 at the ATP Zhuhai Open should be great, with top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in action for the first time this week. Andy Murray’s comeback continues as well, as he tries to book a spot in the quarterfinals. Find out who we think moves on in Zhuhai.

ATP Zhuhai Open Day 4 Predictions

Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Adrian Mannarino

H2H- Tsitsipas leads 1-0
If Stefanos Tsitsipas was 100% physically, I think he wouldn’t have any issues here. The quick turnaround after Laver Cup is tough as we’ve seen Taylor Fritz and Nick Kyrgios struggle this week. I think having an extra day off is going to help Tsitsipas. Mannarino is a tricky opponent, and will probably manage to take a set, but I like the #1 seed to get through.
Prediction: Tsitsipas in 3

Borna Coric vs Di Wu

H2H- First Meeting
Di Wu defeated Tatsuma Ito in the opening round to record his 4th main draw win of all time on the tour-level. It doesn’t get any easier with Borna Coric up next. Coric didn’t have the best summer but looked good in St. Petersberg reaching the final before falling to Daniil Medvedev. Coric should win this one easily.
Prediction: Coric in 2

Roberto Bautista Agut vs Pablo Andujar

H2H- Bautista Agut leads 1-0
Roberto Bautista Agut has to be anxious to get back on the court after losing to Mikhail Kukushkin in the first round at the US Open. I’d give an advantage to Bautista Agut in this matchup as Andujar doesn’t have any weapons that can hurt him. Andujar upset Steve Johnson in the opening round, but this one won’t be as easy.
Prediction: Bautista Agut in 2

Andy Murray vs Alex de Minaur

H2H- First Meeting
Andy Murray was tested physically in his first-round win over American Tennys Sandgren. Murray had to recover quickly in the third set after blowing a match point in the second set tiebreaker. He handled that test well, but this one should be tougher. De Minaur is a tough match for anybody, especially someone coming back from an injury. I think Murray’s win has to give him some extra confidence, though. It won’t be straightforward, but I think Murray gets the win and moves on to the quarterfinals.
Prediction: Murray in 3
