ATP Cincinnati Sunday Predictions Including John Isner vs Dusan Lajovic

The Cincinnati Masters 1000 ATP stop has a rare Sunday main draw start with a pair of matches taking place to kick off the tournament. American John Isner is facing Dusan Lajovic while Alex De Minaur drew Marco Cecchinato.

John Isner vs Dusan Lajovic

Isner has a great h2h record vs Lajovic including a win at the US Open last year. He also loves this tournament and surface. The big serving American has had a poor summer, he won Newport but is just 2-3 on hard courts since then and clearly hasn’t come back from his broken foot with confidence or form. Lajovic would much prefer this match be on clay and won’t be confident either. Given the venue Isner is the favorite but Lajovic will contend. Isner in 2

Alex De Minaur vs Marco Cecchinato

Both players are in a form slump, but Cecchinato more so having not won a match since Rome. De Minaur won Atlanta and hasn’t done much since then but hard court is a better surface for him than the Italian opposition and this should be a rather routine win to build his confidence ahead of the US Open.
