ATP Geneva Quarterfinal Predictions
Nicolas Jarry vs Taro Daniel
H2H- Daniel leads 1-0
Taro Daniel pulled off a huge upset defeating Chilean Christian Garin. He’ll now face another Chilean in Nicolas Jarry. Garin was struggling physically, but all credit to Taro Daniel for getting past Garin–who has been one of the best players on tour in recent weeks. Daniel can be sneaky good on clay, but I’d expect Jarry to advance to the semifinals.
Prediction: Jarry in 2
Federico Delbonis vs Albert Ramos-Vinolas
H2H- Delbonis leads 4-2
Federico Delbonis ousted last year’s champion Marton Fucsovics 6-4 6-2 to advance to the quarterfinals. Delbonis is very much a rhythm player, and he seems to be in good form this week so far. Ramos-Vinolas also has been playing well, defeating Joao Sousa 6-0 6-3. I expect it to go the distance, but Delbonis is looking tough to beat right now in Geneva.

Damir Dzumhur vs Radu Albot
H2H- First Meeting
Damir Dzumhur played well in his upset win over the hometown favorite Stan Wawrinka. He looked down and out several times but ultimately got past the #2 seed. He’ll now face Radu Albot who plays a similar game to his, which should make for a good match. Albot is having the best season of his career, and I think he takes full advantage of his draw opening up with Wawrinka losing.
Prediction: Albot in 2
Alexander Zverev vs Hugo Dellien
H2H- First Meeting
Alexander Zverev played great in the second round to defeat Ernests Gulbis 6-2 6-1. You never know which Gulbis is going to show up, but Zverev–who’s been struggling as of late–did his part to win comfortably. Dellien has been good throughout the clay swing, but a win over Zverev would arguably be the best of his career. I think Zverev wins this one though.
