ATP Acapulco Semifinal Predictions

Cameron Norrie vs Alexander Zverev

The first of the two semifinals to be played will see two players who are rapidly improving as they clash for a spot in the showpiece final. Norrie seems to be getting better with every match and his victory over Mackenzie McDonald in the quarterfinals confirmed his spot in the top 50 for the first time. Zverev has been ploughing his way through the Acapulco draw as the German looks to be back in the form that won him last year’s ATP Finals. This will be the pair’s first meeting, but expect Zverev to destroy yet another victim in Mexico.

Nick Kyrgios vs John Isner

Two of the greatest servers in the modern game will face off under the lights of Cancha Central. Kyrgios seems to be playing his best once again, and that may be down to the quality of opposition he is facing. Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka have been eliminated by Kyrgios, and he would love to add another top player to the list. Isner has gone under the radar in Acapulco and when he is in top form, he is incredibly hard to stop. The American pushed through a three-set battle with John Millman to reach the last four. The Kyrgios-Isner rivalry is held at two wins apiece, although the Australian has won the last two. Maybe he can make it three in a row.

Prediction: Kyrgios in 2
