WTA Fantasy: Picks for Sydney

Simona Halep

Hello to all WTA Fantasy Tennis fans!

It was amazing to see that the number of people entered into the Last Word On Tennis league has already gone into double digits! If you have yet to join the league it is called “Last Word On Tennis.” It is a public league but if you do have problem joining it, you can comment on this article with your email so that I can send you an invite link.

If you are unaware of the game (as admittedly the WTA’s promotion is poor) or have not started your account yet, do not worry! One of the best aspects of the game is that you can join at any time and still potentially win a prize. Instructions on how to join the game can be seen in my introduction article.

The tournament for the upcoming game week is Sydney. As I will be doing for every tournament in the game, I will be giving my expert tips on who you should consider selecting.

Tips For Sydney

For each tournament, you need to pick four players and two alternates, should any of your picks withdraw from the tournament. In order to get maximum points, you need all your chosen players to make the semi-finals. Therefore, it would be a wise decision to pick one player from each quarter of the draw. Below I have put forward, two players from each quarter to aid your selections.

NOTE: Picks must be be submitted 15 minutes before the start of a tournament.
