Orlando City vs Tigres Predictions and Best Odds for March 15
Orlando City Talking Points
OCSC have gotten off to a decent enough start in league play. One win and two draws. They defeated New York Red Bulls on opening day and have since drawn FC Cincinnati and D.C. United. Cincy look to be really good this year, so that might be a good result. There is some concern about the offense though. They’ve only scored two goals in four competitive games, one of which is a penalty. Their big offensive signing Martín Ojeda is still settling in. Likewise Facundo Torres has just one goal contribution, the winning PK against RBNY.

Tigres Talking Points
Tigres have lost two of their last three league games and are in a tight race for top four in the Clausura. Their next league game is a match against top of the table Monterrey. It’ll be an interesting question should they advance what they will prioritize. They have rotated the squad with the last three games, the first leg against Orlando being the middle game there. The offense has dried up a bit with just two goals in the last six games going back a month. They have not scored in the month of March. André-Pierre Gignac will be critical in this match. They had 22 shots almost two thirds possession in the first leg. They need to finish if they want to advance.
Prediction and Best Odds
MLS fans have seen it before where they survive the first leg against a Mexican team while being outplayed then the second leg is ugly. Orlando didn’t take enough of a step forward with their game over the weekend against D.C. United. Tigres gets most of the chances and they finally get a break through, 2-1 in 90 minutes.
Fanduel has an Orlando win at +230, a draw (through regular time) at +220, and Tigres at +110.
