CZW Tournament of Death 20th Anniversary Coming October 7th

Combat Zone Wrestling is often associated with blood, guts, and deathmatch wrestling. While it is not all deathmatches all the time, there is one event that has solidified itself as the haven for the style. Of course, the infamous event in question is the Tournament of Death.

CZW will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their most extreme event on October 7th. The event will once again be held at the mecca of mayhem, the blood-soaked field of DJ Hyde’s family farm in Townsend, Delaware. The show will start at 1:00 p.m. and has a stacked lineup.

First-round matches are filled with a who’s who of deathmatch wrestling. There will be a Pits of Hell match between Judge Joe Dred and Big F’n Joe, a Brain Damage CTE match between Shlak and Eric Ryan, and an exciting rematch of last year’s finals. Bobby Beverly and Mickie Knuckles square off in a Drunken Taipei Deathmatch. Orin Veidt will also be involved in the tournament, however, the plans for him are unknown because his original opponent, Kidd Bandit will not be able to compete due to injury. What does this mean for Veidt in the tournament?

Who do you think will take home the trophy this year? Could this be a redemption song for Mickie Knuckles after being knocked out in the finals last year? Will Beverly win 2 in a row? Or will it be someone else dominating the most violent event of the year? One thing is for sure. Nobody involved in the show wants to go home empty-handed and will do anything they can to win. This should be a fantastic show and if you don’t have tickets yet, what are you waiting for?
