Denver Nuggets Get Set To Host NBA Finals And More

We are ready for the start of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat. And, likewise, the Stanley Cup Final is set to begin with the Las Vegas Golden Knights and another south Florida teams, the Florida Panthers. And, we’re also ready to go over the conclusion of the HBO hit drama “Succession,” as well, on the newest “Last Word on Sports Media” podcast.

Host T.J. Rives returns to give some insight, but also facilitates the discussion with his guests on these subjects.

First, we go to Denver, Colorado, where the Nuggets are ready to host the Heat (off Miami’s Monday game 7 win in Boston) in the first two games of the NBA Finals. Nate Lundy of MileHighSports.com and more in the Denver area comes aboard to give his takes on the Nuggets finally ruling the roost in the West. And now, they are going for their first ever NBA championship. Plus, what’s it already been like the last couple of months with coaches Sean Payton joining the Broncos and Deion Sanders coming to Colorado University football?

Then, the show turns to the HBO hit drama “Succession” and the concluding episode his past Sunday, as the the fourth and final season played out with the culmination of whether the fictional children of the now deceased billionaire mogul “Logan Roy” (played by Brian Cox) will end up running the empire or faltering and selling?

T.J. welcomes “sports guys” Ken Fang of Awful Announcing and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers V.P. of communications, Jonathan Grella, to go over it all with the dramatics of the final show and also, whether it ties into the 1920 World Series or not and most interestingly, will there be a movie to pick up the storyline in the future.
