Alex and Chace are back with part three of their four-part preview series! Today, they look at the 2023 Pacific Division. As they always do, they start with the bottom teams in the division, ranking them into tiers. The guys also take a look at a very prominent player who signed a contract for one of these bottom-feeder teams this week.
After that, they start to work their way up the division, looking at teams that may make a playoff push next. Talking about why they may be on the outside looking in but also why they may have success in the regular season. And finally, they look at the division leaders. These are teams they expect to be in the division hunt and additionally possibly the Presidents Trophy fight. They highlight why they have the defending Cup Champions not ranked in first for the division, and the variance they may face a little more of this season.
Who are Alex and Chace? Alex and Chace are both from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. Both of them grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.
