2025 F1 Academy Lineup: Nina Gademan to Drive for Alpine

The 2025 F1 Academy grid is taking shape, with Alpine confirming Nina Gademan as the latest entrant.

Six drivers confirm their participation in the 2025 F1 Academy season.

The 2025 F1 Academy season will see Nina Gademan join Alpine, replacing their 2024 champion Abbi Pulling.

The announcement is an exciting development for the 21-year-old, who will represent the French team and hope to follow in Pulling’s footsteps.

This move also follows Gademan’s eye-catching performance as a Wild Card driver during the Zandvoort round of the 2024 F1 Academy season. Racing on home soil, she delivered standout results, finishing P4 and P10 in her two races, amassing 13 points.

These achievements made her the first Wild Card entrant to score points in the competition, promoting her as an individual to watch out for.

A Steady Rise Through the Ranks

Gademan gained international recognition in 2019 by winning the FIA Motorsport Games Karting Slalom Cup alongside teammate Bastiaan van Loenen for Team Netherlands.

Her karting successes were followed by a transition to single-seater racing in 2024, where she competed in the British F4 Championship with Fortec Motorsports. Pulling competed here also alongside 2023 F1 Academy driver Chloe Chong.

In her British F4 debut season, Gademan claimed her first rookie podium at Thruxton during the fourth round. Although her best overall finish was P11 at Knockhill, she showed steady progress, finishing 19th in the championship standings with 25 points.

Her Wild Card entry into F1 Academy in Zandvoort at the Dutch Grand Prix weekend marked another milestone in her career.

Gademan qualified P6 in both sessions and achieved a P4 finish in Race 1. Despite a penalty in Race 2 that dropped her to P10, her performance earned praise and opened the door to a full-time seat with Alpine as a member of their Academy.

She also recently signed for Hitech for the 2025 Formula Winter Series. She is set to join Leo Robinson, Thomas Bearman, and Fionn McLaughlin for their debut in the challenge that spans four rounds held in Portugal and Spain.

A New Chapter with Alpine

Speaking about her upcoming debut, Gademan expressed excitement at the opportunity to race with the Enstone-based team:

“I am incredibly proud to be representing BWT Alpine Formula One Team in the 2025 F1 Academy season.

“This is a moment I once thought might never come, and it is a dream come true. Having the support of a team with such an incredible legacy means the world to me. I am deeply grateful for Alpine’s trust and belief in me, and I can’t wait to make the 2025 season an unforgettable chapter in this journey.” – Nina Gademan.

Alpine’s Team Principal, Oliver Oakes, shared his enthusiasm for Gademan’s potential:

“We are happy to have Nina coming on board as our F1 Academy driver for the 2025 season. Her ability to adapt and perform in single-seaters, as demonstrated during her Wild Card entry, is impressive. Nina will be a fantastic addition to our junior driver line-up, and we are excited to work with her throughout the year.” – Oliver Oakes.

Building Momentum

As Gademan prepares for her first full season in F1 Academy, expectations are high.

She joins Chloe Chambers (Red Bull Ford), Ella Lloyd (McLaren), Rafaela Ferreira (RB), Courtney Crone (Haas), and Alba Hurup Larsen (Tommy Hilfiger) in what is already shaping up to be an exciting season.

Fans and experts alike will be keen to see how she develops in the competitive environment of the Alpine team.
