2025 F1 Academy Lineup: Chloe Chambers to Red Bull Ford

Chloe Chambers will be the Red Bull Ford representative for the 2025 F1 Academy season.

Chloe Chambers launched her F1 Academy career at the start of the 2024 season with Haas and Campos Racing. Currently sitting fourth in the Drivers’ Standings with two rounds remaining, Chambers claimed her maiden victory in Race 2 at Barcelona. She has also secured two further podium finishes. These strong performances have marked her as a standout talent on the grid, leading Red Bull Ford to sign her for the 2025 season.

“It is a privilege to be partnering with the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme to continue improving female representation in the sport, and I am grateful for the support to achieve my own career goals in motorsport. I am excited to take part in the Ford Mustang Challenge this week and to have more opportunities to race outside of my role in F1 ACADEMY. My focus for the rest of the year remains on delivering performance with Haas, but I’m looking forward to the next chapter in 2025 with the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme.” – Chloe Chambers earlier last month on her move to Red Bull.

Her journey so far is a testament to steady growth in motorsport.

Karting

F1 Academy driver Chambers began her motorsport journey at just seven years old. By eight, she competed at Oakland Valley Race Park in New York, where she clinched the Kid Kart Championship in her debut year.

Building on this early success, she progressed to club and regional karting circuits across the Northeast US and Canada. She competed in the Rotax Micro, Mini, and Junior Max categories.

In 2018 and 2019, she stepped up to select national-level events, racing in the competitive X30 and KA100 Junior categories.

This collective experience saw her compete in a partial season of the Formula 4 United States Championship. She raced for Future Star Racing. However, she finished the season P26.

In early 2022, Jenner Racing confirmed Chambers for the 2022 W Series season in March of that year, teaming her with reigning champion Jamie Chadwick.

She showed promise from the start. In the opening race of the Miami double-header, she crossed the line as the best-placed rookie in 7th, though a penalty pushed her down to 14th for being out of position at the safety car line.

She scored her first points in the second race, finishing 10th as the highest rookie. She finished the season strong with two 11th-place results in Budapest and Singapore.

In 2023, Chambers competed in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship with Giles Motorsport. At the season finale in Taupo, she earned pole position in Race 2 and led the entire race, becoming the first woman to claim both pole and a win in the series. Her efforts across the season earned her the ninth position in the standings and the title of Most Improved Driver.

Chambers also joined the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America in 2023, driving the Cayman GT4 Club Sport with TPC Racing and Monoflo International’s backing. She dominated her debut at Barber Motorsports Park, securing pole and winning both races.

Over the partial season, she totalled eight wins and nine podiums from twelve starts, establishing herself as a Porsche Junior driver. In 2024, she returned as a guest driver for Round 2 at Barber, where she once again took pole and claimed victory in both races.

2024 F1 Academy

For the 2024 season, Chambers joined the F1 Academy, racing with Campos Racing under Haas’s support. Her first podium came in Miami, with a third-place finish in Race 1 of Round 2. Chambers then clinched her maiden win in Barcelona’s Round 3, leading from start to finish with the fastest lap.

This was Haas’ first-ever win!

Future

Beyond her significant move to Red Bull Ford’s academy for the 2025 F1 Academy season, in November 2024, Chambers will make her Formula E debut with Andretti, driving in the Formula E Women’s Test at Circuit Ricardo Tormo on Friday.
