Charles Leclerc’s long history with Ferrari continues, it’s official now. Let’s have a look at some of his best moments in Rosso Corsa!
The love story between Charles Leclerc and Scuderia Ferrari is a long, and troubled, one. From the first steps in Maranello with Jules Bianchi, to the Ferrari Academy and now, there are more years to come in Red. The Monegasque driver never failed to express his gratitude and pride in wearing the Cavallino Rampante.
He won in Spa
It was September 1st 2019 when, in Spa, Charles Leclerc took his first win in Formula 1. It was also his first win with the Ferrari. With that, he became the first Monegasque driver to ever win a Formula 1 GP. He’s currently the youngest driver to win with Scuderia Ferrari, stealing that record from Jacky Ickx.
When he stepped on that podium, Leclerc held the trophy towards the sky, giving that win to his friend and colleague Anthoine Hubert who had passed on a few weeks prior in an F2 crash.

Bahrain 2022: the beginning of a dream
The beginning of the 2022 season felt like a dream for the Tifosi. Charles Leclerc fought against the World Champion Max Verstappen. The two went wheel-to-wheel on multiple occasions that day, but it was the Monegasque who managed to win the race. Behind him, his teammate Carlos Sainz Jr. secured second place for Ferrari.
After 45 races without a win, it was car number 16 that led the team to victory – the last one was in 2019 in Singapore, which Sebastian Vettel won. Not only was it also his first hat trick in Formula 1 but he also became the first Monegasque to ever lead the Drivers Championship.

Australia 2022: he takes it all
No one could stand up to him in Melbourne during the 2022 season. He was a force to be reckoned with for the entire weekend. Behind him was the whole Ferrari Team supporting him perfectly up to the highest step of the podium. For all the Free Practice sessions, Leclerc was always in the top three. Then, he secured himself an incredible pole position and, on Sunday, a win.
Leclerc conquered his first Grand Chelem: pole position, a win after leading every single lap and fastest lap.
The best poleman in Baku
Even though the 2023 season didn‘t go as expected, with few ups and a lot of downs, there‘s still something to be celebrated. In Azerbaijan, Charles Leclerc took a pole position with a 1.40.203 lap time. But He didn‘t just stop there. On Saturday, he started on pole during the Sprint Race. These were added to his pole position in Baku in 2022.
