Since 2014, Formula E collected various race winners. In only nine years, twenty-three drivers collected at least a win.
Formula E allows many different drivers to win during the season. Often, who becomes World Champion isn’t the driver with more E-Prix wins of the year, with consistency being more important. Here is the list of all the Formula E race winners:

1- Lucas di Grassi: 13 wins
Lucas di Grassi has driven in Formula E since 2014, and, winning the 2014 Beijing E-Prix, he became the first driver to win with an electric engine. Over the years, he became the driver who raced most E-Prix in Formula E history, having disputed 104 races. The Brazilian holds other records, and he is the driver with the most wins – equal to Sébastien Buemi – having collected 13 successes over the years and the higher number of podiums, with 40 podiums achieved. Di Grassi won his first and only title in 2017 and many times has been involved in the championship fight.
1 – Sébastien Buemi: 13
Sébastien Buemi has raced in Formula E since the first season of the category and, during the years, he collected 13 wins, sharing the record as the most-winning driver with Di Grassi. Buemi became a Formula E champion in 2016, during his second season, winning the championship for only a two-point gap over Di Grassi. In 2017, the Swiss driver collected six wins – this being the highest number of victories achieved in a season – and won three consecutive E-Prix, a record that hasn’t been broken yet.
3 – Sam Bird: 12
Sam Bird, the third driver with more wins in the history of the category, drives in Formula E since Season 1. Bird hasn’t won a title yet, but between 2014 and 2021 he won at least a race every season. The Brit didn’t reach the highest step of the podium during the last two seasons, and he achieved his last victory during the Diriyah E-Prix of 2021.
4 – Jean-Éric Vergne: 11
Jean-Eric Vergne is the driver with the most Formula E titles, having won the championship in 2018 and 2019. However, he isn’t the driver with the highest number of victories. Vergne is one of the drivers who race in Formula E since the first season and has collected different experiences. The Frenchman achieved his last victory during Season 9, winning the Hyderabad E-Prix, after more than a year without success.
5 – Mitch Evans: 10
Mitch Evans has won 10 Formula E races in total during his experience in the category. The Jaguar’s driver has raced in the electric championship since 2016 and even if during the latest seasons he has always been involved in the championship fight, he has never won a title. During Season 9 he was crowned ‘King of Rome’, having achieved victory in the Italian capital four times.
6 – Antonio Felix Da Costa: 8
Antonio Felix Da Costa has raced in Formula E since 2014 and during his long journey in the category he achieved the driver’s championship in 2020. The Portuguese driver won his first race during Season 1, collecting the victory in the Buenos Aires E-Prix. After that result, he had to wait until Season 5 to win another E-Prix, the Diriyah race. In 2023 Da Costa won the Cape Town E-Prix, this being the only first place achieved during the season.
7 – Edoardo Mortara: 6
Edoardo Mortara competes in Formula E since Season 4 and he has collected six victories. The Swiss achieved all his wins with Venturi, the team he has raced for until the end of 2022. With Venturi leaving the competition by the end of Season 8, Mortara signed with Maserati. The 2023 season was a difficult one for the driver, that hasn’t conquered any victory or podium.
8 – Jake Dennis: 5
In the 8th position, there is the new World Champion Jake Dennis. The British debuted in Formula E at the beginning of Season 7 and has achieved five victories. Dennis is proof that in FE winning many races isn’t fundamental for the title fight. The Andretti’s driver has won only two E-Prix this season, in Mexico and London.

During these three years, he drove for Envision, winning five E-Prix with the team and achieving the team’s championship in 2023. Cassidy won his first race in Season 8, stepping on the top of the podium in New York. This year, he won four races, two more than Dennis, but he didn’t win the World Champion title, arriving second in the general standings.
10 – Maximilian Günther: 4
Maximilian Guenther closes the top 10 drivers with the highest number of wins in Formula E. The German has collected four wins since his debut in Season 5. From Season 6 he achieved at least a victory per year, except for 2022. This season he brought home the first FE victory of Maserati, crossing the line first at the end of the Jakarta E-Prix.
