F2: Hungary Preview, Predictions and How to Watch

Formula 2 is back in Hungary. Will Vesti extend his lead in the championship battle or is Pourchaire going to be able to catch him?

After Silverstone, the championship battle seems to have reignited with Pourchaire just six points behind Vesti. The Dane in the past gp had to retire after a contact during the feature race while Pourchaire came in third, collecting important points for the championship. Despite a 5-second penalty, Martins won the race, bringing home his first victory in Formula 2 and another 30 points. Bearman and Martis have equal points in the drivers’ standings but things can change after the Hungarian GP.

The Hungaroring could be a turning point for the championship where every point is important. We could witness some twists and turns this weekend.

The Circuit – The Hungaroring

The Hungaroring is 4.381 km with 14 turns. This circuit is known for its few straights therefore overtaking has always proved a challenge, due to the tight layout of the circuit. This is why a good position on the grid during the qualifying session on Friday is very important for the drivers.
