The NTT IndyCar Series has announced the schedule for its 2023 campaign!
It was at 12:04 PM. Nine days ago. The completion of the 2022 IndyCar Series was just seven days removed. A season of success in greatness realized. Through the Twitter account of the official television partner, it may not have been much but an emoji of a calendar.
With the tease in place and anticipation high, it was only the release date the soul needed to fly. Bringing us to today, the 268th day of 2022, a schedule announcement was revealed to be released at high noon. As alarms went off and our screens glared, we refreshed our screens with our eyeballs staring.

Major props go out to IndyCar for wanting to be unique. Instead of releasing a full schedule in the form of a photo or video, the league opted to post the following tweet and allow each respective event’s official account to announce when their event would commence as part of the tweet’s thread.
This announcement not merely showcased the 2023 schedule. It provided the opportunity to follow each account for updates and purchase tickets to attend one of the 17 events.
The 2023 NTT IndyCar Series is a carbon copy of 2022’s campaign. Balance and consistency for the sake of the teams and the spectators.
With television coverage, NBC will continue its excellence in utilizing formats showcasing leadership in the United States coverage of motorsports. The Honda Indy Toronto will once again serve as a streaming exclusive on Peacock. Three events, including the Gallagher Grand Prix, will be showcased on cable through the USA Network. The remaining 13 events, including the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, are scheduled to be broadcast over the air on NBC.
Scheduling gaps showcase a realization of focus being on March Madness and a conclusion designed to transition into the world of professional football. If trends continue from the phenomenon of 2022, 26 of North America’s best drivers will continue the elevation of what makes American open-wheel racing an incredible spectacle.
