Formula E is ready for racing in London, where the last two rounds of the season will take place.
Formula E Season 9 is coming to an end this weekend, with London hosting rounds 15 and 16. The title fight is still on, mainly between Jake Dennis and Nick Cassidy but also Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein aren’t so far behind. The season’s last weekend will be full of surprises and the crowning of a new World Champion.
The circuit – London E-Prix
London hosted Formula E on two different circuits. In 2015, when the category raced in the UK capital for the first time, the E-Prix was held on the Battersea Park Circuit, a layout used also in 2016. After that, Formula E didn’t come back to London for some years until 2021. On this occasion, the E-Prix was moved from Battersea Park to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre Circuit, where it still takes place. The circuit is 2400 meters long and counts 23 turns. It’s mainly known for being the first indoor circuit of the Formula E history.

Drivers’ Championship
All the eyes are on the prize this weekend, with four drivers fighting for the title. Jake Dennis is the favorite, being first in the standings, but Nick Cassidy is only 24 points behind, a manageable gap in Formula E. Behind them, there are Mitch Evans and Pascal Wehrlein, with less possibility to win the championship, but nothing is impossible in motorsport.

- Nick Cassidy – 171
- Mitch Evans – 151
- Pascal Wehrlein – 146
- Jean-Eric Vergne – 107
Teams’ Championship
Even if most people are only watching the Drivers’ Championship, is important to remember that even the Teams’ Standings are important for the outcome of the season. Envision is leading the championship, but Porsche is only 14 points behind. In the third position, there is then Jaguar with 228 and Andretti with 218.
- Envision Racing – 253 points

Race predictions
Jake Dennis will be focused on winning at least one of the two races and bringing the title home. However, Nick Cassidy is probably going to be a tough contender, knowing he has to collect all the points up for grabs if he wants to beat the Andretti driver.
